How to Change the Labels for Tipping Online with Shopify

There are numerous reasons why you might want to change the labels for tipping on your Shopify website. For one, you might not want to be collecting tips for staff, but rather collecting a donation for a good cause. Custom Label: You can add a custom donation amount.

There is also a table available that allows you to make amendments and you can change these to suit your needs from the ‘Theme’s’ section on your website. There are options to make these changes through Shopify admin or Shopify app. The fields are located on the Checkout & systems page. Here is the list of the table fields:

Steps:

To make these changes, follow these steps.

The first step is to log into your admin panel.

Then you need to go to the ‘Sales Channels’, click on ‘Online Store’ and then click on the ‘Themes’ option.

Within the current theme section, you need to click on the option that reads ‘Actions’ and then ‘Edit Languages’.

Click on the ‘Checkout & System’ and then you should scroll down the field that you need to change. Enter in the changes that you would like.

When you’ve made the changes to your labels, you can click on the ‘Save’ option.
