Step 1 – Login
Login to your Shopify store using your credentials.
Step 2 - Discounts
From the Shopify dashboard, you need to look for the ‘Discounts’ section that is on the left-hand side. Click on this, it has a percentage-badge icon on it.

Countries: Choose what countries can get free shipping. This is a very important section because shipping internationally can be very expensive and you might want to offer international customers a different rate for free shipping, if you want to at all.
Minimum Requirement: Specify the amount that the customers need to spend in order to qualify for the free shipping offer. This can also be done on the number of items that the customer is buying from you.
Customer Eligibility: Select who can apply the discount to their cart. A dropdown list will present you with a customer list or customer groups. If this doesn’t contain the list of customers you want, you might need to create the list yourself.
Usage Limits: Say how many times the customer or everyone can use the discount. For instance, you might have an unlimited use for the discount, but only once per customer. Or, you might offer the discount for just the first 200 customers on your store.
Active Dates: You can decide how long you would like the discount to last for.
Step 4 – Save
After completing the details, you can see ‘Save’ the discount by clicking on the ‘Save’ button. You can also advertise the new discount by using the ‘Promote’ button.
