Another reason might be for aesthetics. Sometimes menu lists want to be in alphabetical order or based on the length of the menu item text to make it look attractive and more engaging to the audience.<\/p>\n
Finally, you might just have a preference for how menu items are ordered on a page.<\/p>\n
So, here are the steps for changing the menu items order on your Shopify store.<\/p>\n
Login to your Shopify dashboard using your user credentials.<\/p>\n
Go to the navigation area by first finding the \u2018Online Store\u2019 option in the right-hand menu option and then click on that. Within the next set of options you will a list of options, click on the \u2018Navigation\u2019 option.<\/p>\n
Now find the menu that you want to change from the list of created menus on the page. Just click on the title of the menu and this will take you through to the next step in the process.<\/p>\n
In the next screen, you can find the Menu items section. This displays a list of all the items on the menu. Next to each menu item\u2019s title, there is a six dot icon. This is the tool you need to reorder the menu items. Click on this icon and drag the item to the desired location within the menu. Remember to keep hold of the left hand mouse button while moving.<\/p>\n
