How To Sell On Facebook Using Shopify

To sell on Facebook, you will first need to add the social media platform to your list of sales channels used by your website. The steps to do this are as follows:

Step 1 – Login

First log into your Shopify dashboard using your user credentials.

Step 2 – Sales Channels

Find the ‘Sales Channel’ section in the left-hand side of the admin options.

Step 3 – Find Facebook

Click on the ‘+’ symbol beside the online store and then find the Facebook option and click on the ‘Add’ button.

Step 4 – Connect Your Facebook Account To Shopify Account

Now you need to connect your Facebook account to your Shopify account. If you’re already logged into your Facebook account, then the social media platform will confirm and connect your accounts together. If you’re not logged in already, you will be required to use your Facebook login credentials.

You will need to ensure you’re selecting the right page on Facebook. You can’t use a private or personal profile, as this is against the terms and conditions of Facebook. Instead, all businesses need to utilize the pages.

If you’ve not created a page yet, please do so on Facebook.

Final Word

It may take up to 48 hours for your Facebook account to be connected to your Shopify account. That is because all connections need to be approved by Facebook, and it can take a long time for this to review. But once done, it can be a great way to grow revenues and improve engagement with audiences.
